VNA Partners in Home Care and Hospice
Aging safely at home or living with a chronic, long-term condition may require supportive services after the skilled services provided by MedStar Health Visiting Nurse Association are complete (VNA). Supportive care is sometimes referred to as private duty care or aide services. Capital City Nurses is VNA’s preferred partner for these types of services. Sometimes during home care, a patient and his/her family may request the supportive services associated with end-of-life care. This type of care is referred to as hospice and, like home care, can be provided in the home.
